This Privacy Policy explains what personal data BorrowBase collects, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

Data we collect

Account information (name, email, phone)
Identity verification documents and selfies (processed by our verification provider)
Booking, messaging and evidence capture data
Payment metadata via Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
Device and usage data needed to operate and secure the app

How we use it

To operate bookings, deposits and disputes
To verify identity and prevent fraud
To improve product safety and reliability
To meet legal obligations

Sharing

We share data with service providers (e.g. Stripe, identity verification, cloud hosting) under contract, and with authorities when legally required (see Law Enforcement page).

Retention

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above or required by law.
